For the enumeration of Escherichia coli and coliform organisms in water using a Membrane Filtration Technique.
Previously known as Membrane Enriched Teepol Broth, Lauryl Sulphate has replaced Teepol 610, which is no longer available.
Phenol Red is included in the medium making it possible for coliforms to be more readily detected following incubation.
