Due to a retirement, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Information Technology Manager to join our Management Team in supporting all IT aspects within the company.
Responsibilities
The IT Manager has responsibility for all existing IT systems and related functions (such as internet, communications and security systems) across all sites:
- Supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company’s computing requirements
- Maintain and ensure the efficiency of all hardware, software and networking
- Ensure security of data, firewalls, network access and backup systems
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner
- Ensure all system documentation is accurate and updated
- Maintain our Cyber Essential Accreditation
Key skills and Experience
A successful candidate must have an IT Degree and/or IT background with a sound business focus.
Good ERP system experience (Epicor preferred), a process understanding from a manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of database concepts (SQL Server). Good integration skills with other software eg. Bartender (Labelling), SQL, SSRS (reporting).
Good coding skills (VBA,C#) Good understanding of MS Windows client and server operating systems.
Exposure to Microsoft Office including Teams.
Good experience of security concepts (Cyber Essential Accreditation) and all business continuity processes.
Able to manage and deliver IT related projects to their conclusion.

Hours of Work/Rates of Pay
Mon to Fri: 08.00 to 16.30 (40hrs per week) however flexible may be required due to the nature of the role and business needs.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
